The eero Pro 7 has been a game-changer. I replaced my old router after constant dropouts, buffering and unreliable connections, and since switching to this, everything has been completely smooth.Devices connect instantly, speeds are consistent, and streaming, video calls and smart home kit all just work without a second thought.Being a tri-band Wi-Fi 7 router, it handles multiple devices effortlessly and keeps performance stable even when everything’s running at once. I upgraded to the Amazon eero Pro 7 mainly to future-proof my home network, and overall it’s been a great experience. Setup was incredibly easy, plug it in, open the app, and you’re basically done. No networking degree required.In terms of functionality, it does exactly what it promises. Everything connects smoothly, devices switch between nodes without dropping out, and performance stays consistent even with lots of devices online at the same time.The signal strength is excellent. Coverage is strong across the house, including rooms that used to be Wi-Fi dead zones. Speeds stay stable whether I’m streaming, working, or gaming.Compatibility has also been solid. It works well with smart home devices, laptops, phones, and older gear without any fuss, which was a big plus.The Ethernet ports are decent for most setups, though I do wish there were a couple more on each unit, especially at this price point.That brings me to value for money. It’s powerful and very polished, but it’s definitely on the expensive side. Eero Pro 7 is a polished product
I purchased Pro 7 Eero to consign my original Pro 6 Eero to MESH duties. It took a few attempts to switch routers using the Eero App menu but it did eventually work. The Pro 7 adds about 5% extra speed over the Pro 6. It has been stable and uneventful so far, which is what you want in a router. The range is a little better than my Pro 6 but nothing to write home about. MESH works first time every time, so now Wifi coverage is good throughput my house and garage. The Pro 7 is Wifi 7 Tri-band and should bring plenty of advantages for speed as it adds 6 GHz at closer range. Sadly the Apple implementation of WiFI 7 means that I am only seeing 6E which is disappointing on computer equipment and iPhone that are just a few months old; that seems be down to Apple. I wouldn’t have bothered if I had known this at the time of purchase. Nevertheless, MESH usefully extends the range with two routers. I would prefer the security of controlling the Eero via LAN but the mobile app does work, albeit with limited control options. Overall the Eero pro 7 is a polished product and it came with a welcomed 20% discount: hence 5 stars.

I bought this to replace my Google Wifi. Setting it up was straightforward, and the WiFi speed is impressively fast. However, the coverage is disappointing. While they claim it covers up to 190 m², this seems accurate only if your house has no walls or multiple floors…It’s understandable that coverage is often less than advertised, but in this case, when I move upstairs or into another room, my phone immediately switches to 5G. Unfortunately, I don’t live in a castle with metre-thick walls. If strong coverage is a priority for you, I’d recommend investing in additional routers or considering alternative options.
