A great upgrade to a 10 yr old paperwhite
Very nice upgrade to 6th edition paperwhite. Bigger screen, nicer reading background colour, more options. I wasn’t really sure about the need for colour but glad I chose this option. The colour is pretty washed out & subtle but that doesn’t bother me (& may actually be alterable in the settings). I like the screen saver option of the front of the current book too – feels closer to the paperback experience. Helps me to remember what book I’m reading too! And I got myself a nice brown leather (official) cover which makes the whole thing a bit more “premium” than my old paperwhite.

Love it! Fantastic battery life (just remember to keep on flight mode when you’re not downloading new content). Good quality image, plenty of capacity. Easy to use and lightweight for travel.

An unexpected downgrade from my Kindle Voyage.
I purchased this item to replace an aging Kindle Voyage that had developed some display degradation over the years and was expecting the Colorsoft to be a little better. Honestly, I was a little disappointed when I switched it on and almost returned it but decided persevere. The colour is an interesting option but it’s not present in hardly any of the books in my library so mostly limited to the cover display. Also, the version I have doesn’t have automatic screen brightness, which is a real pain when reading in the dark or very light conditions – plus it’s not a simple process to adjust it. The Colorsoft is larger than my previous Kindle and doesn’t feel so comfortable in my hand. Screen resolution seems inferior to my previous Kindle. On the positive side, the screen is responsive, battery life seems ok and apparently its waterproof so I can ready in the hot tub!

Great Kindle
This is the best decision I’ve made to buy one of these, I’ve always been on the fence about e-readers, usually preferring physical books, but this is great!The screen is clear and easy to read as you can adjust font sizes, types and the colour of the page itself. There’s also a day/night cycle option where you can set the screen warmth and brightness to increase or decrease depending on your preferences.The size is good at around 7 inches, its easy to hold in one hand. Functionality is good too, its easy to pick up how the kindle store and libraries work, however it does tend to get stuck every now and then which just requires a restart.Overall really good! Glad I bought it and I’ll hopefully save money in the long run by buying fewer books. (Though I doubt it)

I traded in my old kindle for 20% off the colour soft. I don’t know if I’d pay full price but I love being able to see my book covers, and the different colour highlights have opened up a new world.My old kindle also didn’t have a light to change the brightness which made reading on planes / at night hard.I do wish the screen was a bit smaller though for travel but I think I’m just used to my 6″ model so this seems much bigger.Great battery too

Got my Kindle from the Prime Day sales and I love it! Please expect the colouring to be lighter than a typical tablet. I think it’s great though and the colour stays on the screen even when off. Everything downloaded straight to the Kindle once turned on and connected to wifi. Made the transition so easy! Love the vivid option for making the colour pop a little more. The battery isn’t as the paperwhite or basic would be, but that’s expected. I don’t love how the back of the Kindle gets oil marks super easily from your hands, so you’ll absolutely want to purchase a case for it. Overall, it’s totally worth it and a great lightweight option for e reading

Sono un utente Kindle da più di dieci anni, ho deciso di fare finalmente un upgrade vista l’offerta allettante. Aspettavo un Kindle a colori da molto tempo essendo un avido consumatore di fumetti e manga; il Kindle Colorsoft ha risposto in modo eccellente alle mie aspettative ed esigenze. Per quanto i colori non siano sgargianti (come suggerito anche dal nome del prodotto) ho trovato assolutamente piacevole la fruizione di fumetti a colori, da opere classiche fino a prodotti di recente pubblicazione; il prodotto è poi piacevole anche per quanto riguarda albi in bianco e nero, come la maggior parte dei manga. Per quanto riguarda la lettura di libri la qualità del Kindle si attesta sempre su standard elevati, nonostante una minore nitidezza dei neri rispetto ai modelli classici, ciò personalmente non incide in modo determinante sull’esperienza di lettura; la regolazione della luminosità e del tono della pagina permette inoltre un elevato livello di adattamento sia in ambienti scuri che luminosi, senza affaticare la vista; infine poter vedere le copertine dei libri a colori, sia nella libreria che come salvaschermo, è un piacere per gli occhi. Acquisto sicuramente soddisfacente e consigliato per gli appassionati di fumetti!

Como su propio nombre indica el color es soft, y claro se ve mas o menos en funcioon del brillo y que la luz sea mas o menos calida, pero a mi me gusta poder ver las protadas.En general me ha gustado. creo que la pantalla no es tan nitida como el paperwhite me da la sensacion.Me voy a centrar pero en la accesibilidad, que es el motivo por el que he hecho renovacion.Es una gran mejora en ese sentido aun que se podria mejorar algo mas, me gusta que se pueda poner el tamaño de letra grance en los menus, aunque no en todos y que segun vas entrando en submenus se va haciendo mas pequeña. La letra del libro en si esta bien, creo que amplia algo mensos que el paperwhite pero no hay mucha diferencia y a demas existe el lector de pantalla.Con respecto al lector de pantalla, es una muy buena opcion de accesibilidad. De momento he conseguido conectar el kindle con mi tele pero aun no con auriculares, seguire probando.En resumen para mi es una gran mejora respecto al que tenia aunque algun detallito se podria mejorar.

Très bonne lisibilité de l’écran.La fonction de surlignage est agrémentée d’un choix de couleurs pastel mais le programme qui la gère est fortement perfectible : quand le passage à surligner est à cheval sur 2 pages d’affichage c’est très très très lent et assez souvent cela plante carrément. J’ai été souvent obligé d’éteindre et de rallumer la liseuse, voire même de la faire redémarrer (plus souvent en quelques SEMAINES d’utilisation que durant plusieurs ANNÉES avec une liseuse Kindle monochrome de génération antérieure).La qualité d’affichage des illustrations, cartes, etc… est améliorée mais est loin d’être extraordinaire.
